Akshay Kumar is doing his bit after the unfortunate Pulwama tragedy, enthusiastically participating in the Bharat Ke Veer enterprise, which he had launched last year. The app and the website provide a platform to people who wish to donate to the families of the slain soldiers. Yesterday, the actor went to diamond city Surat in Gujarat, to receive a contribution of Rs 5 crore, which was collected through the initiative set by the Ministry of Home Affairs. After the Pulwama attack, Akki had donated Rs 15 lakh towards the fund and had encouraged his followers on social media to do the same.
