Vivek Oberoi-starrer ‘PM Narendra Modi’ was scheduled to hit the screens tomorrow, however reports suggest that the film has been delayed by a week. The biopic, which is on the current Prime Minister of India, faced a Public Interest Litigation (PIL), seeking a stay on the film’s release, that coincides with the upcoming elections. Bombay High Court dismissed the PIL, however it seems like the makers of ‘PM Narendra Modi’ are now aiming to release the film next week, on April 12. The Election Commission has cleared the movie with no objection and stated that the release of the film doesn’t violate the model code of conduct of the election process.
