Shahid Kapoor looks impressive as an intense lover, struggling with anger management and alcoholism in ‘Kabir Singh’. The film is the official Hindi remake of the Telugu hit ‘Arjun Reddy’. Speaking about the journey of working in the film, Shahid says, “The most difficult thing about doing a remake is to rediscover the character. I loved the original film and efforts were on to make an original movie without losing the inherent beauty of Arjun Reddy.” Sandeep Vanga had directed ‘Arjun Reddy’ and is marking his Bollywood debut, as he calls the shots for the remake of ‘Kabir Singh’ as well. ‘Kabir Singh’ features Kiara Advani as Shahid’s love interest. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on 21st June.
