Aamir Khan seems to be a hit in China’s entertainment market. After creating a flutter with ‘Dangal’ back in May 2017, in two years, Aamir’s ‘Taare Zameen Par’ (‘TZP’) is being remade in Chinese. Looking at the massive fan flowing of Indian films, the makers wanted to release ‘TZP’ in China with Mandarin subtitles, but the law of the land does not permit foreign films older than two years to hit the screens there. Since the makers were stuck and had no other option, a local banner came to the rescue to produce the remake under the directorship of Ma Duo. ‘TZP’, released in December 2007, was Aamir Khan’s directorial debut film in India and talked about dyslexia in children. The flick became a huge hit in the domestic market.
