The team of ‘Brahmastra’ will shift base to Varanasi as Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are gearing-up to shoot the film with director Ayan Mukerji in the ancient city. So far, the cast and crew of ‘Brahmastra’ have shot the film in Tel Aviv, Bulgaria and Mumbai. While Ayan is already on a recce with his crew stationed there, Ranbir and Alia will join them in Benaras in a couple of days. The team will shoot a marathon 20-day schedule in Ramanagar and Chet Singh forts. Varanasi, also called Benaras, saw the launch of ‘Brahmastra’ logo in a pomp show during the time of Kumbh Mela in March this year. The makers were trying to release the film during Christmas but with much work pending, it has been postponed to summer of 2020.
