Dostana 2 with Kartik Aaryan, Janhvi Kapoor

After a whole lot of speculations and anticipation Karan Johar has finally announced the cast of his much awaited, ‘Dostana 2’. The first film was made a decade ago with Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and John Abraham, and the sequel will be ruled by millennials Kartik Aaryan and Janhvi Kapoor. The filmmaker is also planning to add a male newcomer to the cast of this triangular romantic comedy. Collin D’Cunha will mark his directorial debut with this project. Karan says, “I am excited to take the ‘Dostana’ franchise forward with Kartik and Janhvi, and can’t wait to create some desi boy-girl madness with them. This is Dharma Productions’ first film with Kartik and we are looking forward to working with him.” The actor’s last couple of films like ‘Luka Chuppi’ and ‘Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety’ were hits.
