Come Independence Day and three big projects are set to lock horns at the box office. John Abraham’s ‘Batla House’, Akshay Kumar, Vidya Balan, Taapsee Pannu and Sonakshi Sinha’s ‘Mission Mangal’ and Prabhas, Shraddha Kapoor-starrer ‘Saaho’ are scheduled to hit the screens on August 15. Confident about his project, at the trailer launch of ‘Batla House’, John said, “A holiday always gives you a bigger opening and it is important to release on a good day. Our film is very specific to Independence Day. We may release another sequel of mine on next Independence Day. We have done our math and we still want to release on this date. And it is not over-confidence. I have a lot of respect for every other film but I am very confident that Nikkhil has made a fantastic movie.” ‘Batla House’ is based on controversial Batla House encounter which took place in 2008.
