Akshay Kumar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali stirred up a storm in 2012 with ‘Rowdy Rathore’ directed by Pabhu Dheva. And while Akshay as Rowdy earned many fans there was no follow up film made for the action entertainer. However if latest buzz is to be believed then Akshay is planning to revive the brand and collaborate with SLB for a sequel. The team is planning to make an official announcement soon and aims to release ‘Rowdy Rathore’ sequel in 2020. Apparently the buzz also states that Prabhu Dheva might not be the one to direct the sequel. Akshay has had a busy slate with ‘Mission Mangal’ releasing next month, post which he will be seen in ‘Housefull 4’ and ‘Good News’. Come 2020 and the actor has ‘Sooryavanshi’ and ‘Laxmmi Bomb’ scheduled for release.
