Karan Johar announced a massive acquisition last week when he bought the rights of the South film ‘Dear Comrade’, even before it hit the screens in local language in India! And now that he has pocketed the rights, reportedly for Rs 6 crore, the filmmaker is keen to rope in Vijay Deverakonda, who has played the lead in ‘Dear Comrade’. KJo has reportedly offered the South superstar a whopping Rs 40 crore for his Bollywood debut with the Hindi remake of ‘Dear Comrade’! However, Vijay has rejected the offer by KJo as he doesn’t want to tell the same story twice! The actor was also offered to play the lead in ‘Kabir Singh’, the Hindi remake of his Telugu blockbuster ‘Arjun Reddy’, which was turned down!
