Ever since PV Sindhu bagged a Gold at the BWF World Championships, her story seems to have a lot of takers in Bollywood. Sindhu, in the meantime, has had her pick, stating that Deepika Padukone should play her on the silver screen. Deepika is the daughter of Prakash Padukone, former badminton champion and teaches the sport as well. However, recent buzz suggests that Sonu Sood is keen to make the biopic and is planning to cast South actress Samantha Akkineni as its lead. However, there has been no confirmation. Deepika seems to be the most likely choice as she doesn’t have any project, except for the acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal biopic ‘Chhapaak’ and a cameo in Kabir Khan’s ‘83’.
