Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone recently returned to Mumbai, after wrapping-up a marathon schedule of ‘‘83’ in London. Director Kabir Khan has finished shooting the major cricketing portions of the film, which is based on India’s iconic 1983 World Cup win led by Kapil Dev. The team will be shooting for the last leg of the film in Mumbai in early October. ‘‘83’ will be released in three languages – Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, marking the first-ever trilingual release for Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Kabir Khan. With Ranveer playing captain Kapil Dev, Deepika stepped in to portray his onscreen wife Romi Bhatia. The team’s manager PR Man Singh will be played by Pankaj Tripathi. The film is scheduled to hit the screens on April 10, 2020.
