Veteran actor Dharmendra took ill after he was diagnosed with dengue recently. The fever weakened the actor so much that Dharam Paaji had to be admitted in a Khar hospital in suburban Mumbai. He stayed put at the recovery centre for about three days before being discharged. Although there’s no threat to his life now, Dharmendra could still be out of action for almost a month before he could get back into his daily chores. The actor was last seen in ‘Yamla Pagla Deewana Phir Se’ which released in August 2018. The film bombed badly at the box office, setting the Deols back by about 20 crores. Before being struck with dengue, Dharmendra was seen promoting grandson Karan Deol’s film ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’.
