Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor are off to Himalayan rendezvous for their upcoming Ayan Mukerji-directed film ‘Brahmastra’. Alia and Ranbir will shoot in Manali, Himachal Pradesh, which falls in the vicinity of Himalaya, said to be Lord Shiva’s home in the Hindu mythology. Interestingly, Ranbir plays superhero Shiva, on whom the film is based. ‘Brahmastra’ is the first film in the trilogy featuring an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Mouni Roy, Akkineni Nagarjuna, Dimple Kapadia and Prateik Babbar apart from Ranbir and Alia, who plays Isha. The film goes places like Bulgaria, London, New York, Scotland and Varanasi (Benaras) tracing the journey of its main characters. The unit of ‘Brahmastra’ has finally landed in Manali, where Shiva is said to find his origin.
