Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) ‘Dhoom’ franchise has seen some larger than life villains. From John Abraham to Hrithik Roshan and even Aamir Khan. While rumour had it that Shah Rukh Khan may sign up for the fourth venture, the latest buzz suggested that YRF is planning to rope in Akshay Kumar for the part. But the production house quashed this piece of information as “absolutely incorrect and baseless”. YRF further went on to say, “‘Dhoom’ is an extremely important franchise for us but currently we do not have an idea or script for ‘Dhoom 4’,” dousing the smoke which was being bellowed for the hit franchise. Interestingly, Akki is already collaborating with the production house for the period drama on Rajput warrior and king Prithviraj Chauhan.
