Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone could well be locking horns at the box office during Diwali 2021. Ranveer has been reportedly offered a titular role in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s next, ‘Baiju Bawra’. The revenge saga will feature Ranveer in the role of a talented dhrupad singer-composer, who duels classical vocalist Tansen. This magnum opus has been announced for Diwali 2021 and the same date has been booked by Deepika Padukone for her home production project. The actress is all set to play the lead in a film which will narrate the story of ‘Mahabharat’ from the point of view of Draupadi. It remains to be seen who will blink first in this mega race for Diwali release.
