After the massive success of ‘Kabir Singh’ Shahid Kapoor has signed up to play the lead in yet another South remake ‘Jersey’. The actor will play a cricketer in the film and is busy prepping for his role. Shahid says “I used to think that I am really a good cricketer because I would play cricket in school. But I forgot the fact that there has been a long gap when I have not played the game. It’s fun but when you are playing cricket in a film, you need to get the technique right and you need to dedicate a lot of time to it. I am practicing every day with all the gears.” ‘Jersey’ will be directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri who had also directed the Telugu version of the film.
