After much speculations Shahid Kapoor’s ‘Jersey’ finally has a leading lady. It’s confirmed that Mrunal Thakur who has done films like ‘Super 30’ and ‘Batla House’ is finalized to act opposite Shahid in ‘Jersey’. The Bollywood film is a remake of the Telugu flick with the same title. Director Gowtam Tinnanauri who had directed the original is taking the reins in his own hands even with the Hindi counterpart. Since the flick is a remake the original story will retain its story. Mrunal will seen supporting Shahid whose character enters the cricket field at a time when many contemplate retiring. The highs and lows of their emotional journey will form the crux of the story in ‘Jersey’.
