Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s ‘Shikara – A Love Letter From Kashmir’ will clash with Saif Ali Khan and Alaia Furniturewala-starrer ‘Jawaani Jaaneman’ on February 7, 2020. Now it is coming to light that Chopra might launch his ‘Shikara’ straight on over-the-top (OTT) platforms instead of giving it a full-fledged theatrical release. Chopra’s last Hindi directorial was ‘Eklavya: The Royal Guard’ way back in 2007 and hence the industry was eagerly waiting for him to return as director with ‘Shikara’. The latest film talks about mass exodus of Kashmiri Pundits and was to hit the screens on November 9 before getting postponed. After rowing in troubled waters for a while Vinod Chopra who is a Kashmiri himself could finally release ‘Shikara’ on OTT.
