Since the time ‘Veere Di Wedding’ hit the screens in June 2018 the news of its sequel started doing the rounds. The female-centric film starred Kareena Kapoor Khan, Sonam Kapoor, Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania. The buzz now says that these four actresses are set to come back in the sequel to ‘Veere Di Wedding’. Though the talks are still in early stage the chances of Kareena, Sonam, Swara and Shikha appearing in the sequel are more as the makers can’t imagine this franchise without them. If the pre-production winds up on time then the Bollywood flick can roll by mid-2020. Directed by Shashanka Ghosh and made on a modest budget of Rs 25 crore, ‘Veere Di Wedding’ collected almost Rs 140 crore worldwide.
