Kangana Ranaut is debuting as a producer in Bollywood with ‘Aparajitha Ayodhya’ the film which is based on the recent Ram Temple-Babri Masjid controversy and subsequent court case. On choosing such a controversial subject to debut as producer Kangana says, “The case has changed the face of Indian politics and the verdict has ended the centuries-old dispute while embodying the secular spirit of India. ‘Aparajitha Ayodhya’ is the journey of the protagonist from a non-believer to a believer. And since it reflects my personal journey I decided it would be the apt subject for my first production.” Ironically it is still not clear whether Kangana herself will feature in ‘Aparajitha Ayodhya’ or not when the film rolls out early next year.
