Akshay Kumar found himself in the eye of a controversy when he “accidentally” pressed the ‘like’ button on a video showing police brutality on university students. Many controversial videos and messages are being shared on social media for the recent Citizenship Act, with protests by Jamia Millia Islamia University in New Delhi. In one such video, Akshay Kumar hit on the ‘like’ button and immediately got trolled on the internet. He later clarified, “Regarding the ‘like’ on the tweet of Jamia Millia students, it was by mistake. I was scrolling and accidentally it must have been pressed. And when I realised, I immediately unliked it, as in no way do I support such acts.” Bollywood celebs are staying cautious talking about the recent Citizenship Amendment Bill (CAB) which has now become an Act.
