‘Love Aaj Kal’ trailer is out and so are the comparisons with the earlier film released back in 2009. While this film stars Kartik Aaryan and Sara Ali Khan, the older film featured Sara’s father Saif Ali Khan along with Deepika Padukone. Both the films are directed by Imtiaz Ali. When Sara was asked about the unavoidable comparisons, she said, “This is ‘Love Aaj Kal’, not ‘Love Aaj Kal 2’. So it is not a sequel. We know that there will be some unnecessary comparisons but Kartik is not playing Saif Ali Khan’s character neither am I portraying Deepika Padukone’s.
