A woman has accused choreographer Ganesh Acharya of forcefully making her watch porn whenever she visited him at his office in Mumbai. A complaint has been filed with the Mumbai police by an assistant choreographer. A letter mentioning Ganesh’s ‘moves’ has also been sent to the National Commission for Women (NCW), a statutory body which handles such cases. The 33-year-old woman has alleged that she was also manhandled at a function of the Indian Film and Television Choreographers Association (IFTCA), of which she is a member. On dance master’s insistence, two women named Jayashree Kelkar and Preeti Lad hit the complainant trying to throw her out of the meet. Ganesh Acharya is the general secretary of the said association. A non-cognisable (NC) offence is filed and the matter is under investigation
