Vicky Kaushal and Richa Chadha have come out in the support of the LGBTQIA+ community in India. When one’s sexual orientation is being talked about, this is seen as a sign of encouragement to respect their privacy. Vicky says, “Sometimes you discuss it with your family and they deal with it. But the family tells you that it is a small little group which knows and the world doesn’t need to. So the closet has become bigger.” Richa feels that anybody can come out in the open to talk about it without being judged. “To me, supporting the community is the most basic, correct and human thing to do. You don’t have to be gay to care about the queer community,” is what she believes in.
