Ganesh Acharya had come into the eye of a storm when a woman alleged that he had forcefully made her watch porn whenever she used to visit his office. Allegations also flew thick and fast that the choreographer threw the complainant out with the help of two others, namely Jayashree Kelkar and Preeti Lad. While a non-cognisable (NC) offence was filed at the end of January, finally an FIR has been registered against Ganesh Acharya. The 33 year-old complainant, who is also an assistant choreographer, had turned to the National Commission for Women (NCW), which asked the Kalamboli Police Station to file an FIR against Acharya. Though any arrest was yet to be made till the time this was being written.
