After biopics on sports people and soldiers, here’s one on an unusual man. ‘Oh My God’ and ‘102 Not Out’ maker Umesh Shukla will direct a biopic on India’s one of the most celebrated public prosecutors Ujjwal Nikam. Apart from directing, Umesh will also be producing it jointly with Sejal Shah and others. Titled ‘Nikam’, the film will narrate the story of the man behind the most fascinating, controversial and toughest cases ever fought in India. Bhavesh Mandalia and Gaurav Shukla will act as wordsmith for the story. Ujjwal Nikam, on whom the biopic is based, says, “I agreed to collaborate with this talented team as I trust them to tell a story that will hopefully inspire and do justice to what we have fought for.” ‘Nikam’ will hit the floors soon.
