This time, the ace filmmaker is preparing for a film on a veterinary doctor’s rape and murder in the Ranga Reddy district of Telangana. RGV yesterday met Shamshabad Additional Commissioner of Police to gather more information and solidify his research for the heinous crime. “My next film is titled ‘Disha’ which is going to be about the Disha rape. After the brutal rape and horrific murder of Nirbhaya, the Disha rapists went further in their ghastliness in actually burning the poor girl with petrol,” Ramu had said in early February. The incident shook the entire nation and the police later shot the criminals down in an alleged encounter.
