Biopics are the flavour of the season in Bollywood and the latest one to join the bandwagon is a film on the life and times of seasoned cricketer Sourav Ganguly. Former Indian cricket team’s captain, Sourav is now a president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and Bollywood’s famed filmmaker Karan Johar is allegedly planning to capture his life on the silver screen. Buzz suggests that KJo has met the sportsman a few times to discuss the possibility. Dharma Productions is reportedly on the lookout for the lead actor to essay Dada, as he is fondly called, on the silver screen. A biopic on another cricketer MS Dhoni, was a huge hit earlier.
