The makers of ‘83’, director Kabir Khan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala seem to be in overdrive thinking about the length of the film which they have created. ‘83’ stars Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone as husband-wife and is based on the Cricket World Cup of 1983 which India had won. The team was led by Kapil Dev and Ranveer plays the Indian cricket team’s captain, while Deepika portrays his wife Romi Dev. Reports say that like many other sports films, the run time of ‘83’ is long and this may go against the movie. On top of this, the film is now delayed due to the global coronavirus scare. ‘83’ was to release on April 10 but is now postponed indefinitely. Kabir might cut it short during this period.
