Bollywood filmmakers and stars are all about sequels and biopics. Producer Bhushan Kumar has pitched one more of his successful films in this exercise. His 2018 superhit ‘Raid’ will be made into a sequel. While ‘Raid’ had Ajay Devgn, Ileana D’Cruz and Saurabh Shukla as its lead cast, ‘Raid 2’ is expected to continue with the similar team by and large. The first in the sequel was directed by Raj Kumar Gupta and was jointly produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak and Bhushan Kumar under the Viacom 18 Motion Pictures distributorship. Since Ajay has ‘Bhuj: The Pride of India’, ‘Thank God’, ‘Kaithi’ remake, ‘Chanakya’, ‘Golmaal 5’ and ‘Singham 3’ lined-up, he can only start ‘Raid 2’ by the middle of next year.
