Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Leela Bhansali are not the only two incurring losses with their lavish sets for ‘Maidaan’ and ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ respectively. The makers of Kangana Ranaut’s next are trying to save her sets for ‘Thalaivi’. Kangana’s film is a biopic on the late South Indian politician J Jayalalithaa. The actress will portray her in reel-life in ‘Thalaivi’ and hence director AL Vijay and producer Shailesh R Singh had erected a huge set down South, mainly in Hyderabad and Chennai. With all shoots coming to a halt, these sets lie unused. The makers fear that the same will be ruined in rains and Rs 5 crore will go down the drain. It is now up to Kangana to resume shoot as soon as the lockdown is lifted.
