The film and television industries in India are gearing up to resume shooting possibly by the end of June. Almost all shoots were put on hold from March 18th onwards owing to the high-risk coronavirus pandemic. The daily-wage workers became jobless overnight and the entertainment industry at-large incurred heavy losses. After three months of staying under lockdown, stars like Amitabh Bachchan, Ekta Kapoor and a few others might resume shoots by next month. While Bachchan is getting ready to shoot for the new season of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’, Ekta will restart her role as producer of films and serials. The entire unit will adhere to the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) rules like only 50 percent attendance, masks, gloves and other guidelines.
