Bollywood’s famous music director Pritam Chakraborty’s father, Prabodh Chakraborty passed away on Sunday. He was reportedly suffering from Alzheimer and Parkinson’s disease for the past two years. Chakraborty Senior was hospitalised for the last three months, but lost the battle due to old age. He was 86. The music composer, widely known by his first name, Pritam, has kept sharing pictures with his parents over the past several years. It is said that Pritam was by his father’s side along with his mother and sister when the senior member of the family breathed his last breath. Prabodh Chakraborty’s last rites were performed on May 24th itself at Amboli, suburban Mumbai. Only a handful of people could gather for the funeral because of the lockdown.
