Rajkummar Rao is confirmed for the Hindi remake of the Telugu film ‘HIT: The First Case’. The actor will portray a troubled policeman in the film. The acronym HIT in the film stands for Homicide Intervention Team. The South version was released in February just before the lockdown. Directed by Sailesh Kolanu, the mystery-thriller was a hit despite having a short run at the ticket windows. Since the Hindi version is in the scripting stage, ‘HIT: The First Case’ can only go on the floors in 2021. Rajkummar will be shown as a cop caught between his past and present. Though the cast may change to appeal a universal audience, Sailesh will remain as the captain of the ship.
