The Sanjay Gupta-directed ‘Mumbai Saga’ was to start filming in Hyderabad before the pandemic pushed India into lockdown. With this new normal now sinking in with everyone, the team may resume shoot soon in Mumbai itself. Sanjay seems to have decided to ditch the Hyderabad location altogether and will shoot along with its cast comprising John Abraham and Emraan Hashmi in the Maximum City, Mumbai. Gupta had dedicated two weeks for the Hyderabad schedule and the unit was to shoot in the world famous Ramoji Film City. As per their earlier time table, ‘Mumbai Saga’ should have commenced shoot a while back, but now the team will wait for another month before going on the floors. Produced by Bhushan Kumar, the film talks about the story of Bombay and how it became Mumbai.
