When many big films are knocking on the doors of OTT platforms, buzz was that even Aamir Khan had cracked a lucrative deal with one giant to screen his films on its service. It was being reported that Aamir’s has struck a multi-film deal not just for the upcoming ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’, but several other projects. It turns out that this piece of news is nothing more than just rumours. A source reveals, “While Aamir Khan Productions is developing many projects, stories of a multi-project deal with a streaming giant are untrue.” With this, the news of Perfectionist Khan developing a herd mentality is put to rest for the time being. As for his next film, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ is scheduled to release on Christmas but may be postponed due to coronavirus pandemic.
