Amitabh Bachchan finally tested negative for Covid-19 and was discharged from the hospital on August 2nd. Sharing the happy news with his extended family on social media, the veteran actor said, “I have tested Covid-19 negative and have been discharged. I am back home in solitary quarantine. Grace of the Almighty, blessings of Ma-Babuji and the excellent care and nursing made it possible for me to see this day.” Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan had shifted to the hospital on July 12th. While Big B made his way home, Abhishek still continues to recuperate at the medical care facility, “I, unfortunately due to some comorbidities, remain Covid-19 positive and remain in hospital.” Aishwarya Rai and Aaradhya Bachchan had also tested positive but recovered soon.
