Sushant Singh Rajput’s death case is finally handed over to the country’s investigation agency, CBI. The Central Bureau of Investigation stepped in today after the Supreme Court of India gave it a green light to take over the case. The ‘Dil Bechara’ actor reportedly passed away due to suicide on June 14th. Since then, the call for CBI inquiry only grew louder as some industry insiders claimed that it was a cold-blooded murder. While waiting on the case for 66 days in-between, some high-profile politicians’ names popped up. People alleged that Mumbai Police were hiding the facts, with Bihar Police also investigating from their end on Sushant’s father’s complaint. With CBI taking over the case, most are looking forward to justice.
