Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh made a quick trip to the actress’ hometown, Bengaluru (previously known as Bangalore). The couple was spotted at the airport after they landed in Mumbai yesterday. The journey was long overdue and pre-planned as she wanted to meet her parents before resuming work. Deepika is soon to start shooting for a Shakun Batra-directorial and is expected to get into back-to-back work commitments post that. That may leave her and Ranveer with little time for such quick trips. Citing the reason and easing of lockdown, the husband-wife visited Deepika’s parents Prakash and Ujjala Padukone last week. Deepika and Ranveer are awaiting the release of ‘83’ in which they will be seen together.
