Genelia D’Souza – Deshmukh may not be seen much on the silver screen anymore, but the actress is busy doing her bit for the family after tying the knot. Married to Riteish Deshmukh in 2012, the actress tested positive for Covid-19 a couple of weeks back. Though the Deshmukh family kept it private, Genelia came out over the weekend to announce that she was free of the infection. “I was tested Covid-19 positive three weeks ago. I was asymptomatic for the last 21 days. With God’s grace, I tested Covid-19 negative today,” she said on Saturday. Genelia said she realised during the quarantine how it feels to be alone all the time, “No amount of Facetime and digital immersion can kill the evil of loneliness. I am happy to be back with my family and loved ones.”
