Aamir Khan is one happy man these days. No, not because Kareena Kapoor Khan has resumed work for his upcoming film ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. The reason for his happiness is rather personal and very close to his heart. Aamir is associated with the NGO Paani Foundation along with his wife Kiran Rao. The stars adopt villages and barren lands to turn them into lush green patches so that water conservation can overcome the deficit of this very scarce commodity. Aamir and Kiran are highly active in and around the state of Maharashtra. In one such incident, the foundation planted 2,000 saplings in a remote village. Sharing the video of their success on Instagram, Aamir said, “Really proud of this experiment done by the team. Please watch and give me your reactions.” The star had shared the information about his charity work in one of the episodes of his TV series ‘Satyamev Jayate’ a couple of years back.
