Strong rumours were doing the rounds that production house Yash Raj Films’ (YRF) founding member and director-producer late Yash Chopra, will soon have a biopic made on him. The industry was abuzz as to who will act in this mammoth project while Chopra’s son Aditya may direct this supposed biopic. However, It turns out that this piece of news was just a rumour. YRF’s spokesperson refuted the claims, “This is a baseless rumour. There are absolutely no plans to make a biopic on Yash Chopraji.” Had the biopic actually been on the cards then Shah Rukh Khan might have been their first choice, keeping in mind how the star is a favourite among the Chopra clan. But with rumours put to rest, fans will have to wait to see if and when a film on Bollywood Icon Yash Chopra might be made.
