While the usual festive parties and gatherings remained on the down low, Bollywood celebrities made sure that Diwali was anything BUT bleak this year. Priyanka Chopra and Nick celebrated the festival at their Los Angeles home, Deepika Padukone attended a Diwali bash hosted by her co-star Siddhant Chaturvedi in Mumbai. The Bachchan family cancelled their annual Diwali bash, but Ekta Kapoor hosted an intimate get-together for her close ones. Since Saif Ali Khan and Arjun Kapoor are shooting in Dharamshala for ‘Bhoot Police’, the duo were joined by Kareena Kapoor Khan and Malaika Arora on the sets. Shilpa Shetty-Raj Kundra, Shahid Kapoor-Mira Rajput, Ayushmann Khurrana-Tahira Kashyap and Sanjay Dutt-Maanayata Dutt celebrated the festival of lights with their respective families. Farhan Akhtar and lady love Shibani Dandekar enjoyed Diwali festivities in Maldives, away from the hullaballoo of the city.
