The world is talking about global warming and when the same knocked on India’s doors with the recent tragedy of Uttarakhand’s mass floods, many Bollywood celebrities lent their support to the affected people in one voice. With folded hands, Shahid Kapoor said, “Prayers for all those affected in Uttarakhand. It’s a beautiful state with wonderful people. I have shot there many a time.” Ajay Devgn too echoed the seriousness of the tragedy when he reflected, “Is it our worst fears on climate extremes that are closing in on us? My thoughts and prayers are with the people of Uttarakhand at this crucial hour. I hope we rescue as many as possible.” Younger actresses like Sara Ali Khan, Bhumi Pednekar and Shraddha Kapoor too expressed their grief over this tragedy.
