Like the rest of the country, Deepika Padukone is also going through an emotionally tough tough time. Deepika’s parents, Prakash and Ujjala Padukone and her sister Anisha have been tested positive for Covid-19. Ace badminton player and coach Prakash Padukone is even admitted to a hospital in Bengaluru where he is recuperating. The three felt under the weather about 10 days go and have since isolated themselves at home. While Deepika’s mother Ujjala and younger sister Anisha kept up with the treatment, her father’s health worsened with a persistent fever. Hence he had to be admitted to a medical facility. A ray of hope for Deepika in this tough time is that Prakash Padukone could be discharged from the hospital by the end of this week. For now, Deepika and Ranveer Singh are staying put in Mumbai.
