Shah Rukh Khan recently received the Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his film ‘Happy New Year’. And the star is beaming with happiness. “Dadasaheb Phalke Award is very inspiring for me because of the person that Dadasaheb Phalke was. I think for every person in the industry, for every director, Dadasaheb Phalke is very inspiring,” said SRK. The actor states that he is glad to be associated with the prestigious honour of the Indian film industry. Shah Rukh Khan said, “More than the awards, what is important is that anything that is attached to him, we are rewarded for that. Even if I get an award it is not a big thing. But to be able to participate, to be on the stage is one of the biggest honours.”
