The news of Kartik Aaryan quitting ‘Goodbye Freddy’ started doing the rounds yesterday. But the reason behind him leaving the tentatively titled flick is only being speculated. On one hand, Industry insiders say creative differences led him to drop out of the Shah Rukh Khan’s Red Chillies-backed film, another statement suggests that he may have been dropped as Kartik wanted to change the script. It is said that the actor had okayed the script during the reading session with director Ajay Bahl, but later back-tracked. Another theory says that Kartik thought that the film’s lead actress Katrina Kaif, would look much older to him and it would not be right to work opposite her in ‘Goodbye Freddy’.
