The news of Salman Khan purchasing the rights to remake ‘Khiladi’ have been doing the rounds since yesterday. Many thought it was the Akshay Kumar-starrer ‘Khiladi’ and the subsequent series that followed years later. It is now coming to the light that the film in question is not the 1992 hit, rather a Telugu flick named ‘Khiladi’ which is yet to release. Salman is said to have liked the trailer so much that even before it hits the screens, the actor reportedly decided to buy its Hindi remake rights. The original film stars Southern sensation Ravi Teja and is directed by Ramesh Varma. The teaser of the Telugu movie was released on April 12th and instantly went viral.
