The news of Kartik Aaryan being roped in for ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’ made headlines during the last week of June. Since then, the title of the film has been seen as something which can stir up huge controversy for the religious name attached to it. Hence, the makers of ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’ have decided to play it safe and change the name of the film. Director Sameer Vidwans recently issued a statement in this regard, which reads, “A title of the film is something that emerges organically through the creative process. We have taken a decision to change the title of our recently announced film, ‘Satyanarayan Ki Katha’, to avoid hurting sentiments, even if that’s purely unintentional. We will be announcing a new title soon.” Producer Sajid Nadiadwala was recently threatened by a Madhya Pradesh group Sanskriti Bachao Manch that they would not tolerate such titles.
