Hollywood’s STXfilms studio, a division of Eros STX Global Corporation, has approached Deepika for a romantic comedy. While the star has already said yes to this developing story, she will also produce it under her Ka Productions banner. Deepika’s production house has films like ‘Chhapaak’, and the upcoming ‘The Intern’ remake under its umbrella. Talking about her ambitious plans, Deepika says, “Ka Productions was founded with the aim to develop and produce purposeful content with global appeal. I’m thrilled to be partnering with STXfilms. We look forward to bringing impactful and dynamic cross-cultural stories to the world.” Her Hollywood debut was ‘XXX: The Return of Xander Cage’ with Vin Diesel a few years ago.
